My journey with mosaics began when my daughter Sydney developed an interest in the craft as a young girl. While Sydney's passions moved elsewhere, my interest in mosaic art deepened. My workspace consisted of a small desk tucked away in a basement closet with some nippers and glue. I have since outgrown that space and have taken over the entire basement - creating a fully functioning artist studio, equipped with grinders, saws, gadgets, tools, and an abundance of glass and other supplies. Over the years, I have expanded into other media, including resin art, creating memorable keepsakes from the glass smashed under the chuppah at Jewish weddings and flowers delicately preserved. After retiring from a 30-year teaching career, I can now dedicate more time to my passion and sharing my love of creating beautiful artwork.
